Welcome to the wonderful jianghu of Moonlight Blade , young hero.

I'll try to provide some advice to get you through this perilous yet wonderful journey:

1- Regarding quests and leveling:

- Main quests and daily "MUST DO" missions are main source of exp here.

- If you love story and characters, etc then play through the main quests and enjoy the journey.

- If you want to rush to end game content then you get option to skip main quest for fast leveling starting from around lv 20 or so. A skip button will show up next to main quest in quest list on the top left of the screen. Don't worry , skipping main quest still yields you all important rewards.

- In any case, you'll need to do the side quests because, they unlock some stuff like adventure quests and fondness characters , etc.

- Try to do the daily missions in MUST DO (button below mini map) everyday. Those are extremely important to do.

- When you hit the softcap at around lv 60-65 where you'll need to level up before you can continue main quests, check this guide for f2p gearing Here are a few tips for new players to increase prowess

- When you hit soft cap at around lv 60, you'll notice that you have a specific amount of exp you can get per day. Once that amount is over, you'll have to wait till next day to get more exp. Must DO daily missions are best way to get this daily exp quickly and if there are still some exp left, you can use experience tokens to get them or you can auto farm mobs in world quest area till your exp is capped for the day or do careers or tales , etc.

2- Search for a mentor:

Try to get yourself a good mentor who is knowledgeable about the game.
A mentor can give apprentice gear through mail and take them to end game tales (dungeons) regardless of apprentice's low level.
For more info about mentor/apprentice system, you can check this guide here Mentorship / Apprenticeship

3- What items to buy per week?

Items I recommend you buy from store for blue vouchers per week:

- Forging Element III
- 5 x champion recruit order.
- 5 x epitaph keys
- 30% discounted weekly 5x hero recruit pulls (from hero recruit interface) twice.
- Optional: 10x lunar orbs for 250 blue vouchers (for leveling fellowship later through friendship)

Items I recommend you buy from ingot shop later when you start farming ingots through escort career:

- Forging Element I
- Epitaph gift box
- Constellation visitation card
- Optional: lv 9 refined jade and mark of horizon 3 if you have excess ingots.

Items I recommend you buy from Chief Star shop (tales shop):

- Career vigor pills and Forging Element III and I are most important to get first.
- daily Dark Sky Crude and Hero Scripture IV
- Everything else except for gold wire and frost iron unless you have excess currency.

Items I recommend you buy from Battle shop (PVP shop):

- Warforge
- Glaze fire
- Hero recruit order
- Jianghu Note
- Artifact boxes
- Mark of Horizons III if you have extra currency.

Items I recommend you buy from Haihe token shop (guild shop):

- Pretty much everything there is important for a new player but get Heroic Material II and Hero Advance Pill Gold and Heroic Material I first before anything else. Don't buy Refined Jade from Haihe shop, its better to buy them for ingots from ingot shop. Exquisite Mastery Page is not worth buying from Haihe shop, you can buy them from Trade for ingots.

- For new player, the epitaph key and chess boxes are important to get.

Note: These buying tips are meant for free players.
For cashers , it might be more optimal to buy a few more stuff from store perhaps I'm not sure as I never cashed before.
