1.Click on the Start menu.
2.Enter "Windows Firewall" in the search bar that appears and open Windows Firewall.
3.Now choose the Advanced Settings option.
4.Right-click the Inbound Rules option and click New Rule.
5.Select the Port for QuickBooks and then hit Next.
6.Don’t forget to make your selection for TCP.
7.Using the Specific local ports area, make your selection for specific ports required for the QuickBooks year version you are using.
8.After entering the port number, click Next.
9.Mark Allow the connection option and click Next.
10.Ensure all the profiles are selected.
11.Next, create a new rule and name it “QBPorts(year).”
12.At last, click Finish.
13.Repeat the same steps to create Outbound Rules.
